St. Aiden's Guesthouse places you in a period property with spacious rooms near Rathgar Village, well-connected to Dublin via frequent bus routes. Guests appreciate having access to a kitchenette equipped for preparing tea and coffee, as well as a self-service breakfast with fruit, yoghurts, and bread. The location is convenient, with grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants within walking distance, and there's a pleasant garden out front; however, some guests have noted the shared kitchen's proximity to certain rooms might lead to some noise. small room low water pressure
The location was good, and the house felt safe. I thought the room was very small! it was smaller than I expected. I also had trouble with the shower. The water pressure was very low. It made it difficult to have a proper shower.

adequate stay.

friendly staff change arrangement good variety creaking bed noise issue sleep disturbance
the staff were very friendly. they arranged a change of room for me the next day. breakfast in the kitchen room was self-service. there was a good variety of cereals, fruit, bread, butter, eggs and cheese.
the bed creaked a lot. it made a lot OF noise even when i turned lightly. this kept me awake, so much so that i actually tried to sleep on the floor from 5am. THE hotel would have scored a lot higher if not for that.

dipped middle cupboard slam
the self-catering breakfast setup had a nice touch with cereal available, i guess.
The bed had some kind of topper mattress situation, and i swear it dipped right in the middle. my back protested the entire night. also, i heard every single cupboard slam in the shared kitchen next door. Sounded like a cooking show at midnight. not ideal when you're trying to sleep.
